September 2008 - Global Learning Exchange Networks Forum: Building Partnerships, Knowledge, & Power to Advance Equitable Societies

This Forum explored how NGO learning exchanges can advance social change and innovation within the third sector in Greater Boston and around the globe. Sr. Margaret Leonard, Executive Director at Project Hope, was the keynote speaker for this event.

 

June 2008 - Rise & Shine

April 2008 - Project Hope Honored as Bike Friendly Business

Mayor Thomas M. Menino presented a Green Award to Project Hope for being a Bike Friendly business at an awards ceremony.

 

Oct 2007 - Sr. Margaret honored at The Family-to-Family Celebration

Sister Margaret Leonard, Project Hope’s Executive Director, was honored at the Family-to-Family Project's 20th Anniversary Celebration chaired by founders Paul and Katie Bettenwieser.

 

July 2007 - She's a Birthday Sister

Sr. Margaret celebrates her 70th birthday with a surprise gathering of her family, staff and board members.

 

June 2007 - Sr. Margaret receives 2007 Award for Excellence

The 2007 Award for Excellence in Community Development from the Massachusetts Housing Investment Corporation was awarded to Sr. Margaret Leonard and Project Hope.

April 2007 - Extreme Makeover - Part 2

Rebuilding Together Boston, Gilbane Company and Fidelity Investments came together to makeover the outside of Project Hope's shelter in one day!

 

April 2007 - Reverend Msgr. William Francis Community of Hope

Friends of the late Father Bill gathered at Project Hope for a wonderful reception in his honor. His friends shared stories about this remarkable man, his extraordinary personal style and presence. To continue Father Bill's legacy, the Community of Hope Fund was established to give a helping hand to people in the community.

 

November 2006 - Project Hope Shelter Makeover a Success

Sept 2006 - Gillette Awards Project Hope With Homelessness Prevention Grant
Gillette officials announced a $100,000 grant to Project Hope earmarked for homelessness prevention at an event held at Project Hope.
