The first words heard on WCVB-TV about the Makeover were these: “Volunteers just seemed to come out of the woodwork.” We trusted they were out there somewhere listening for a call for help: they were; they came; and, oh my, how they worked! They washed, rinsed, scrubbed, primed, painted, polished, and even sawed wood. They lifted and carried, sewed and draped. They became our community of care who “walked the talk”.

Project Hope’s mission is to partner with families as they move up and out of poverty. This partnership rests on mutual respect. This home speaks loudly of respect for homeless families and our volunteers gave it voice.

We will always be grateful for your service.
