Tutor an Adult Learner
Tutors have the exciting opportunity to work one-on-one with students to provide instruction in basic math, reading or writing. We ask that tutors have an openness to learning from and working with adults from a variety of cultural and educational backgrounds. Reliability, consistency and commitment to learner-centered tutoring are required for a successful student-tutor relationship.

Mentor a One Family Scholar
Mentors and scholars often develop a relationship
that provides mutual support and sustenance that goes
way beyond scholarship. Mentors meet regularly
with Scholars, helping them to fine-tune academic plans
and their career goals, using their life's experience to
provide counsel and advice. The single most
important qualification to be a successful mentor is the
willingness and enthusiasm to give of your time and
talent in order to help another woman achieve what you
already have: economic and personal stability in their
lives.
For more information on mentoring a One Family Scholar,
please contact Valerie Paric at 617-423-0504 x203 or
